916 S.E. 4th Ave. $850

A very beautiful 2 Br. 1 Ba. house very suitable for a couple or a single person wanting some space. The yard is fenced in front and back. The vehicle access is through 3rd Pl. around rear. The older man Hank who lives behind the house has been there for 25 years and is the hawk of the area and a very nice guy. The woman on the corner has lived there for over thirty years. There is a redneck who lives on the East side of the house but you don't often see him which the privacy fence helps with (his dog Sugar is a sweat heart). There is a bike lane that travels down 4th Ave and 2nd Ave. that takes you through downtown and to the University. There is a 8x6 storage shed in the backyard not shown in the pics, it houses the provided electric mower for your lawn maintenace, ladder so you can change the provided a/c filters and some extra space for your bikes.

So inside the house we have installed solid white oak floors, historically accurate trim, put fans in every room, The front and interior doors have a clear finish. We custom made maple cabinets that use soy based glues and FSC (forest stewardship council) certified cores. No materials we used in this house contain formaldehyde and all the paints and finishes are low VOC and water based. The kitchen sink and cast iron tub as well as the water faucets were made in the USA. Back to the cabinets, we use made in the USA full extension drawer slides and in each corner there are lazy susans to help maximize the storage space. Tile counters, back splash, gas range, and washer dryer hook ups. We don't lowest common denominator anything in the house, which is rare for a house that is intended to be a rental home. Cheap landlords annoy me there aesthitic is alway apparent. We care about the work we do and the homes we make.
